Everyone has different ethical standards in different situations: I do not take what is not mine, even knowing that I could get away with it but I may have exceeded the speed limit on the highway in the past. At a certain point, it also becomes an ethical decision. What they look for in the automated validation process, can or decide to enforce, may obviously be different. I lost their reply in a computer upgrade a while back, but as far as I can remember, the answer was pretty much a cut and paste of what is on the website site now.
